The waters of the river of Grutas Tolantongo were again clear and with its peculiar hue turquoise, look muddy after the rains just nine days ago.

On July 3, an intense storm caused the current to rise, dragging stones and mud that temporarily removed its paradisiacal feature, images that went viral nationwide.
