More than 10 thousand people were able to taste this barbecue for free.
Hidalgo broke a world record with the largest barbecue by cooking more than 67 sheep and 200 chickens in a single oven, as part of the festivities of the Dajiedhi community in the municipality of Actopan.
This Monday the inhabitants of that demarcation cooked a Hidalgo-style barbecue that led them to break the Guinness record.
The secretary of tourism Elizabeth Quintanar pointed out that there were more than 70 producers who participated for this representative dish of the entity.
She pointed out that the barbecue was made in an oven of 4 meters in diameter, by 1.20 meters deep, and as we already said, these celebrations were attended by more than 10 thousand people, who were able to taste these dishes for free.
