The magic of Hacienda San Juan Pueblilla, located in the municipality of Zempoala, will be the setting for the third edition of the Grandezza Fest, a food and wine event that consolidates Hidalgo as a key destination for wine lovers.
The festival will bring together prestigious wineries such as La Cetto, Monte Xanic, and La Redonda, among others, and will offer unlimited tastings of more than 100 labels of red, white, rosé, and sparkling wine.
Participating labels come not only from Mexican wine-producing regions such as Guanajuato, Querétaro, and Baja California, but also from countries with a winemaking tradition such as Chile, Spain, Argentina, and the United States.
Presale admission will cost 500 pesos and will include tastings, specialized winemaking workshops, live music with violinist Fernando Badillo, saxophonist performances, and guidance from professional sommeliers. Tickets at the box office will cost 600 pesos.
The Grandezza Fest will open at 11:00 a.m. and run until 11:00 p.m. Admission is exclusive to those over 18 years of age, who must present official identification.
More than a thousand people are expected to attend, which will significantly contribute to boosting tourism in Zempoala, a Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) in the state of Hidalgo. In addition to increased hotel occupancy, the event will generate temporary jobs and economic benefits for the community.
Josmar Xelhuantzi Ramírez, a member of the organizing team, emphasized that these types of initiatives reinforce Hidalgo’s position as a national benchmark in wine culture.
“We want the state to be recognized for its quality tourism offering, the consumption of national products, and its support for our communities,” he stated.
For his part, Francisco García García emphasized that Grandezza Fest has evolved with each edition, consolidating itself as a multisensory experience that combines wine, music, and gastronomy in the privileged setting of Zempoala.
